The job description

A festival is an endurance event.

Nobody trains for it. They just show up and hope. Look at what a single weekend actually asks of your body:

30–50k
Steps a day
Hours
Dancing without stopping
3+ days
On your feet, back to back
Little
Sleep, high output
Heat · dust
Cold, mud, exhaustion
Cross-country
Travel, then do it again
The whole athlete

Balance fuels everything.

True performance comes from balance. Invest in every area of your life and you show up stronger — on and off the dance floor.

The story
The scene changed my life.

It started pre-med — biochemistry at the University of San Diego, headed for medicine. Then a fall into opioid addiction, two pharmacy robberies with a toy gun, and a twelve-year prison sentence.

I came home in 2022 with nothing but a plan: that strength training was my way back. Teaching people to move safely, through full range, with intention — I've never seen anyone regret getting stronger.

A part of me was still lost, until the EDM scene found me at EDC Vegas. The sound, the lights, the people — a shared frequency where you felt seen. But it took everything out of me. Unprepared for the physical demands, I knew: if I want to do this forever, and keep these people around me, we need to be strong.

FSTVL ATHLETE is where the journey landed.

Festivals. Fitness. Family.
